Nice 2 Necessary was established in early 2017 by fundraising professional and non-profit executive, Molly Demeulenaere.
Before starting N2N, Demeulenaere most recently served as President and CEO of The Museum of Science & Industry (MOSI Tampa). During Demeulenaere’s tenure, MOSI served over 1.7 million people through its programs and campus partners, and opened 21 new experiences including being the first place in the nation where the general public could experience autonomous vehicle technology. As a leader in informal STEM education, Molly co-founded the Tampa Bay STEM Network where she still serves as an advisory member and became a Florida champion for Million Women Mentors. She was recognized as Fundraiser of the Year in 2014 for Give Day Tampa Bay, hosted the 2016 Association of Science & Technology Centers international conference, and realized the first increase in visitor attendance in nearly a decade.
Molly coined the phrase Nice 2 Necessary years ago as she worked with science centers that struggled to raise their profile from being something nice to do on a rainy day to being an education powerhouse of the future.
As a respected leader, Demeulenaere continues to be a sought out as a speaker and advisor, speaking at international conferences about philanthropy, innovation in the social sector, and lifelong learning.
Leading the N2N team allows Molly to stay closely tied to the fields that bring joy to her life while acting as an extension of your team so that we may all make a difference and deliver solutions to the world's most pressing needs.
